The Ultimate Cold War Social Deduction Game

November 15, 1963, Dallas - You have 7 days to identify the Conspirators, block their movements, and arrest them before they complete their third objective. The only problem is you don't know who at the table is with you and who is against you.

One error can preserve the tragedy. One correct move can change the nation's fate.

Someone is working against everyone else.

  • You don't know who
  • They don't know you suspect them
  • And the Moderator is in on it too

History Rewritten: JFK is a hidden-conspiracy social deduction game for 2–11 players set in 1963 Dallas. Agents race to stop a plot unfolding in real time across a city grid, while the Conspirators move in the shadows, and the Moderator plays to win.

The Moderator Is Always Part of The Conspiracy

Most games treat the moderator as a facilitator. Here, the moderator is part of the problem. In History Rewritten: JFK, the Moderator is always part of the conspiracy, playing to win and shaping tension each round. You are not being guided. You are being managed, misdirected, and tested. Every confirmation, every pause, every answer sits under suspicion.

Special $1 Mini Expansion Offer

Place a $1 refundable deposit before our Kickstarter launch, and you'll receive the Intel Mini Expansion with 10 exclusive new role cards automatically with your pledge. This offer closes the moment the campaign goes live.

This game has been played. A lot.

History Rewritten: JFK has been playtested across every player count from 2 to 11. Every deal is different. Every game ends differently. The map reshuffles. The objectives change. The envelopes open in a different order. No two games will ever be the same. Mathematically or experientially

  • 450 quintillion setup options.
  • Unlimited replayability

Don't take our word for it...

Here's what some of our playtesters said after playing History Rewritten: JFK.

You haven't played a game like this.

FEATURE 1

1. No One Leaves The Table.

I just got caught.

The group voted to interrogate me. My identity card flipped face-up. Everyone knows now. I'm a Conspirator, but I am still very much in the game.

In most hidden-role games, getting caught means sitting out while everyone else finishes. In History Rewritten: JFK, exposure only changes your objective. A revealed Conspirator keeps playing.

FEATURE 2

2. On Day 3, the Room Goes Silent

The room goes silent. No discussion. No strategy. No 'wait, I think...'. I fold a piece of paper and slide it across the table, and wait to see if I asked a question that will help us win.

At a certain point, talking becomes a liability. The Silent Round forces communication to stop. Players rely on secret Dead Drops, yes/no questions, to extract truth from the Moderator without breaking cover.

FEATURE 3

3. The Conspiracy Moves on a Map.

I can see where the Conspirators went last night. I can't see where they're going tonight. I know the grid. I don't know their route. The gap between those two things is where this game lives.

  • 16 real Dallas locations.
  • Hidden movement every round.
  • Agents scan zones, build intelligence, and try to intercept

The map makes every round a spatial puzzle that no other social deduction game asks you to solve.

Before You Go:

Q: What if I change my mind?

A: Your $1 is fully refundable, any time, no questions asked. If you cancel your reservation, we guarantee you a full refund at any time before the project moves into production.

Q: Is this like Werewolf or Secret Hitler?

A: The two games share one structural element: someone at the table has a hidden identity. Beyond that, History Rewritten: JFK is a different category of game entirely. There is a physical map with tokens moving across it in secret every round. There are sealed objective envelopes that determine the conspiracy's goal. The Moderator is your active opponent, not a neutral referee. And no player ever gets eliminated.

Q: How much is the full game?

A: The Kickstarter price is $49 plus shipping. Also available at launch will be an exclusive deluxe version and the Jack Ruby expansion, which adds an additional rogue character to the gameplay.

Q: Why reserve now instead of backing when the Kickstarter launches?

A: The Intel Role Cards Mini Expansion offer closes the moment the campaign goes live. It won't be available as an add-on, it won't appear in the retail version, and it will not be sold after launch. If you back on day one without a reservation, you will not have the option to include it.
